Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LekkeWeb, a Nexubis company based in Cape Town, South Africa, is the responsible party for personal information collected through lekkeweb.co.za and our client dashboard. Contact us about privacy at hello@lekkeweb.co.za.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, business name and details you enter in our contact forms, the free Online Stoep Audit (such as your website address, social links, industry and town), and when booking a call.
• Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and analytics events that tell us how the site is used.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Payfast. Your card details go directly to Payfast's secure systems and never touch our servers.

3. How we use it

• To run your audit and deliver your report.
• To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for.
• To send you your report and follow-up emails, including a weekly practical tip. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email from us.
• To measure and improve our website and our advertising.

4. Who processes it for us

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run LekkeWeb:

• Vercel hosts our website.
• Resend sends our transactional email, such as report deliveries and notifications.
• Funnelr sends our email sequences and manages unsubscribes.
• Cal.com handles call bookings.
• Payfast processes payments.
• Meta (Facebook) helps us measure advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and server-side events; where an email address is used for matching it is sent as a one-way hash, never in plain text.

Each provider only receives what it needs for its job, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

5. Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies: functional cookies needed for things like the audit's session handling, and Meta advertising cookies used for measurement. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site keeps working without the advertising ones.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries and project records are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and meet our legal obligations. Audit reports expire and are deleted automatically 180 days after they are created. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

7. Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to direct marketing. Email hello@lekkeweb.co.za and we will handle it promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, the new version applies from the date published on this page. See also our Terms and Conditions and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
