1. Who we are

LekkeWeb ("LekkeWeb", "we", "us") is a South African web design studio and a Nexubis company, based in Cape Town. We build websites, branding and related digital services for small businesses. You can reach us any time at hello@lekkeweb.co.za.

These terms apply to our website at lekkeweb.co.za, our client dashboard on our subdomains, and every project we take on. By purchasing a package or paying an invoice, you accept them.

2. Our services

We design and build websites, provide branding and positioning work, and offer related services such as our free Online Stoep Audit, content setup, and ongoing support. The exact deliverables for your project are set out in your package description or written quote before any work starts.

3. Pricing and quotes

Every price is fixed and agreed in writing up front, and includes VAT where applicable. There are no hidden extras and no scope-creep invoices. If you ask for work beyond the agreed scope, we quote it separately first and only proceed once you approve.

4. Payment

Payments are made through our client dashboard and are processed by Payfast, a licensed South African payment service provider. Payfast handles your card and banking details on their secure systems; we never see or store your card details. Your payment schedule (for example a deposit and balance) is agreed in writing before the project starts.

5. Delivery

We commit to real delivery dates in writing before we begin: currently 7 days for our one-page Firestarter package, 14 days for Lekker Leads, and 21 days for Bakgat. Timelines start from kickoff, which is when we have received your deposit and the content and information we need from you.

6. What we need from you

Projects need your input: content, images, feedback and approvals at the agreed points. If feedback or materials are delayed on your side, delivery dates shift by the same amount. We will always tell you clearly what we are waiting for.

7. You own your site

From day one, your domain, your website and your logins belong to you. When the project is delivered and paid for, all work we created for it is yours. No hostage situations, ever.

8. Our guarantee

If we do not deliver what we promised in the agreed scope, you do not pay. The details of how refunds and cancellations work are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Support and ongoing costs

Every package includes a free support period after launch, stated in your package description. After that, optional monthly support is available; you can cancel it at any time. Third-party costs such as your domain and hosting (typically a few hundred rand a year) are billed by those providers and are yours, and we guide you through setting them up in your own name.

10. Acceptable use

We only build for lawful purposes. We may decline or stop work that involves unlawful, deceptive or harmful content. You confirm that any content and materials you supply are yours to use and do not infringe anyone else's rights.

11. Liability

We carry out our services with skill and care. To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, and our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If we update them, the new version applies from the date it is published on this page. Questions are always welcome at hello@lekkeweb.co.za.
